Windows server 2019 is about the corner, are you guys excited about using it or getting to it? Do you think we should consider it over 2016 windows server?

Hello @MAGATech this is a great question. It will really depend on which features you will be using in server 2019. Clustering for instance in 2019 has improved a lot and so did Hyper-v. So if you use any of these two then you may want to consider it.

Yet, you have to make sure your applicaition (in case you have an application) and your backup and Anti-virus support 2019 with no issues.

As far as GuruSquad, we support server 2019 since it was tech-preview 2. Given we are a data replication software, we always test and optimize our software to support future releases of windows so that customers can use us to migrate their data whenever they need to.

While MS released Windows Server 2019 a month ago. It has been pulled away for 3 weeks so far due to some serious bugs found in the image. Some state the bugs are due to upgrading.

We are glad to officially inform you that windows server 2019 is now fully supported and tested. GS RichCopy 360 standard and enterprise now work on Windows Server 2019. Once installed, they would detect the OS system and optimize themselves for it.
